Why We Started Halyard & Oak

There's a certain kind of person this brand was built for. You don't post every opinion you have. You don't argue with strangers online. You go to work, you take care of your family, and when it matters, you show up. Nobody hands out awards for that. But you're the reason this country still runs. We got tired of patriotic apparel that only knew how to yell. So we started making shirts for the rest of us, and named the company after two quiet things that do their jobs: the halyard that raises the flag, and the oak that holds its ground. Halyard & Oak isn't about shouting anyone down. It's about wearing something that says what you believe without raising your voice. That idea grew into collections with their own personalities, all built on the same belief. The 1775 Collection is gold on black: liberty, self-reliance, and the right to be left alone, said the way it was said in 1775. Faith & Old Glory is faith, family, and flag, warm and sincere, for the things that came before politics ever did. Every shirt is printed in the USA on 5.3 oz, 100% combed cotton, built to hold up in the wash and actually get worn. Raise it quietly.
